  I have taken both my dogs and cats to Intermountain Pet Hospital for over a year; mostly the Chinden location. I have never boarded them, only for vet services. My husband and I have been very happy with their services. When we have had an emergency concern (like when our puppy had horrible diarrhea at 12 weeks old for days; or when one of our cats started peeing blood) they were able to get us in right away! And they also followed up with several phone calls over the next week or so to check on them. The techs. and the vet are always on our pets level and often doing checks and what not on the floor, if that is where my pet is most comfortable. The office space is clean, smells nice, and has a great little play area for kids (in a separate room with a half door so they are easily seen and heard). I have not had to wait long beyond a scheduled appointment time, however that being said, I am sure that I have been that patient that has taken extra time because of whatever was going on in the appointment. The ONLY reason I did not give a 5 star review is because at times I have felt that they are on the pricey side and that there have been some 'extra' charges that I was not aware of until the time....but I do feel that the service is worth it. I like being able to pay in the treatment room versus trying to stand at the check in desk and pay AND wrangle my pet and kids. I would absolutely recommend them, and have, to anyone looking for a great vet with great service. It's really helpful that they have multiple locations and multiple vets.
